Inchcape in the Community is an initiative intended to showcase the Inchcape Spirit – one of caring, one of giving and one of supporting those in need.
By providing our employees with a ‘Volunteering Leave Day’ we not only give something back to our local community & charities but we also contribute personal enrichment to our staff.

Local Events
Inchcape Dealers team up with Guildford Firefighters for Charity Car Wash.
A charity car wash and car safety event was held at Guildford Fire Station on Sat 2nd July.
Green watch, the on duty watch worked hard along with friends, family and staff members from Inchcape Guildford Retailers – Inchcape Ford, Inchcape Toyota, H.A.Fox Jaguar, Hunters Land Rover & Lexus Guildford to raise a total of £1587.00 for the Royal Marines Association.
With the sun shining, the people ofGuildfordshowed their support for such a worthy cause by having their cars safety checked by the Inchcape team of technicians and then washed by the fire crew. The day was also supported by Eagle radio with regular broadcasts of the event and the Love Crew who turned up to help encourage passers by to pull in.
The Inchcape team managed to escape the traditional soaking at the end of the day which was brought to a close around 4pm.
Chris Sirett, Station Manager said “A big thank you goes out to everyone that helped along with the people of Guildford that supported the event on the day.
Their generosity will help provide ongoing support for the families and dependants of Royal Marines killed in action. Assistance will be provided to other Royal Marines who have suffered both physical and mental trauma, and events will be arranged so that veterans who would otherwise suffer in silence can keep in touch with old comrades.”

Cake Sale in aid of Spinal Research - Wednesday 9th March 2011
On 9th March, the Adminsitration Team at Wokingham held a Cake Sale in aid of Spinal Research. £107 was raised in total which will be put towards sponsoring Vince Robertson, one of the new car sales executives who will be running in the London Marathon on Sunday 17th April 2011.

Supporting St James's Church - Finchampstead - Saturday 9th July 2011
Over the past couple of years, St James's Church Fete Commitee have raised funds to undertake extensive work to both the inside and outside of this Grade 1 listed church. Built in 1134, and the age that it is, the committee are continuously working hard to keep this lovely church fit for both current and future generations.
Inchcape Ford are donating to the Church Fete raffle which is being held at Finchampstead Memorial Park on Saturday 9th July 2011 and would like to encourage all to support this worthy cause.
